I see a wide open road. This is a road that is sometime strait and sometimes twisty. It is a road that is open to anyone but we all have our own. This is the road of life that just goes on and on. What has been catching my attention on this road are the service areas and rest stops that dot the road behind me. Places that we stop and hang out because the road is stretching out to far ahead and feels overwhelming.

I feel the Lord showing me that many of the places that I have stopped to rest in the past were not the places that he had planned. These were stops that I made and often it was just around the corner that I was going to be in Gods planned rest area. God has planned stops intended for each of us, but just like on a long road journey it can be so tempting to stop off a little early and stretch the legs. To stay on schedule we have to keep to Gods planned resting areas.
